This is a reference for Jomablue users. 

The Event App doesn't need to be installed, but for convenience, users can save the Event App to their home screen for easy access - think of it like a bookmark.

The method to do this differs by device manufacturer, but this article will help provide some guidance, to how it's done.

Pro Tip: You can create a Custom Page in the Event App to provide instructions for users, about how to save the app to their home screens. You will find the required HTML content at the bottom of this page.


Most modern versions detect the application and automatically prompt users to save it to their home screen, when landing on an Event App for the first time.

If the prompt is not seen, or it's dismissed, and users would still like to Add to Home Screen, there is an Add App to Home Screen option in most browser menus.


Apple are yet to add auto detection of applications to iOS. So iOS. Users are able to Add to Home Screen, but can do this simply, in as few as 2-3 taps. Currently this is only supported by the Safari browser in iOS - Chrome and other browsers are not supported.

We are closely monitoring Apple updates for iOS and we will implement a more streamlined installation workflow as soon as Apple make it available.

Here is how to do it using Safari:

Select the Share Icon

Select Add to Home Screen

Add a Custom Page to help users Save to Home Screen

The following HTML code can be used in a Custom Page within the Event App. This page can provides users with instructions on how to save the Event App to their home page.

Paste the following into the content field of Custom Pages.
