During the life cycle of your Event you will need to communicate information to your Attendees, Crew, and/or Staff. These can be customised and scheduled to be sent out via Campaigns within Jomablue (see here for more about Campaigns).

To create a new SMS Template, log in to Jomablue and navigate to Event Configuration > Templates, and click on the New Sms Content button at the top-right of the page. The types of SMS Templates in Jomablue include:

Tips and Tricks

  • When creating a Name for your Template, be sure to include the Event Name, Template Type, and intended audience for that Template. Some examples can be seen below:
With Project Name:

BUSINESS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 19_ETICKET SMS_DELEGATES
BUSINESS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 19_SURVEY SMS_STAFF

With Project Code:

BLS19_ETICKET SMS_DELEGATES
BLS19_SURVEY SMS_EXHIBITORS
  • We recommend limiting your SMS content to 1 SMS message per recipient only - when entering the content into the Body field, a counter will appear displaying the estimated number of characters and number of SMS messages per recipient (see below). For most message types the limit for a single SMS is 120 characters
  • For each Template type, a number of variables are available to be inserted into the Body of the SMS Template. The available variables will be visible below the Character counter (see below). These variables will be replaced with the relevant text for each SMS sent (for example, a Session check-in SMS will replace *SESSION_NAME* with the name of the Session, and *PERSON_FIRST_NAME* with the first name of the Person that checked in to that session)
